Pre-Exam Checklist – 

1 – Technical Requirements
A computer or laptop (no tablets or phones allowed in the room with you).
A stable internet connection.
A functional webcam and microphone (both must remain on during the exam).
Access to the exam platform and any login credentials provided.

2 – Environment Preparation
Sit in a quiet, well-lit room where you will not be disturbed.
Your desk or table must be clear of any notes, books, or devices (other than the one used for the exam).
Ensure that no one else is in the room during the exam.

3 – Software Setup
Test your equipment and software in advance to ensure everything is working.

Exam Rules

1 – Proctoring
The exam will be proctored live via your webcam. You must remain visible on camera at all times. If you have small children ensure someone else is around to attend to them if needed.
Your audio will be monitored to ensure no unauthorised assistance.

2 – Compliance Checks
Proctors may ask you to scan your room with your webcam before the exam begins.
You must show your desk and surrounding area to confirm compliance with the no-materials rule.

3 – Prohibited Actions
No talking or communicating with others.
No use of notes, books, or electronic devices (other than the exam device).
No switching windows or using additional screens.

4 – Breaks
No breaks are allowed during the exam.

5 – Penalties for Cheating
Any breach of the rules will result in immediate disqualification from this and any future opportunities to sit the exam or training with The Infant Feeding Academy

On Exam Day

Follow the proctor’s instructions for environment scan.
Once the exam begins, focus solely on completing it.

All students are required to join a follow-up session. This session is mandatory.
