Module One

Upon completion of this module, you will have an understanding of the terminology used during tongue-tie assessment and why using the correct language is so important.  You will be able to describe the anatomy of the Lingual Frenulum and have a really solid understanding of what a tongue-tie is and its possible aetiology.  Having an accurate understanding of the current research around ‘Lip-tie’ and tethered oral tissues is imperative for the support you give your clients.  

By the end of this module, you will confidently be able to advise on these issues.
