Taught by industry experts...

Dee Bell RM, IBCLC, Specialist Tongue-tie Practitioner

Dr. Sharon Silberstein, MD. IBCLC aka 'The Breastfeeding Doctor'

In this Masterclass...

We explore the etiology, diagnosis, and treatment of Low milk supply.

Many new parents don’t get off to a good start with breastfeeding.

Perhaps they were separated from their infant due to complications or ill health.

Perhaps the baby was sleepy and reluctant to feed, or perhaps they were given little/the wrong advice about building milk supply.

Or, perhaps there are genuine medical conditions causing milk production to be low.

This advanced Masterclass explores the physiological reasons for low milk supply, how to recognise the red flags, and what can be done to increase production both naturally and with the support of medications.

Just some of the topics we will be covering include:

  • Truly understanding the Anatomy and Physiology of milk production –  The Milk Supply Equation
  • Identifying and eradicating secondary lactation inhibitors
  • Recognising Insufficient Glandular Tissue
  • Safe use of Galactogens/Galactogogues
  • Counselling and supporting new parents with low milk supply
  • Managing parent expectations

'Suitable for ALL involved in the care & management of infant feeding during the first few weeks of life.'

Meet your host...
Dee Bell

Dee teaches Perinatal Practitioners like you about all things Infant Feeding, so they can better support their clients to meet their infant feeding goals.

She’s an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Registered Midwife, and Specialist Tongue-tie Practitioner.

‘I founded The Infant Feeding Academy to empower other perinatal practitioners with the knowledge they need to support their clients with infant feeding and positively affect health outcomes for generations to come.

My big dream is to create a community of Infant Feeding Coaches who will holistically support their clients to meet their Infant Feeding goals, whatever they may be.’

Dee runs online Infant feeding & Tongue-tie training programs alongside her busy Infant Feeding and Tongue-tie Clinics in Brighton, Tunbridge Wells, and Sevenoaks, where other practitioners can also attend for face-to-face training and mentoring.

'Once again I get SO much content to wrap my brain around but just so practical, and I know tomorrow I will do a better job. Thank you Dee!'

Mindful Breastfeeding Practitioner & Certified Women's Coach

Sharon is a medical Doctor, IBCLC and Specialist Tongue-tie Practitioner based in Harley Street, London.

After graduation Sharon was based in Switzerland working in Gynaecology and Obstetrics.  After a move to London and through breastfeeding her children she realised the high number of mothers struggling and stopping breastfeeding, mainly due to lack of expert support.

Realising that many Doctors have little training in lactation she went on to study a Diploma with Childbirth Internataional, Tongue-tie Training at Southampton University and became a qualified IBCLC in 2019.

Sharon now specialises in the field of Breastfeeding and through her medical experience and training is able to treat the cause as well as the symptom.

In February 2022 Sharon opened the doors to the first medical clinic in the UK specialising in Infant Feeding and Tongue-tie, alongside other complimentary services.
