Welcome to Understanding Tongue-tie: The complexities of definition and diagnosis
This course is taught at two levels:
Foundation: Supporting Families with Infant Tongue-tie Certificate.
Advanced: Accredited Tongue-tie Assessor Award.
The format of this foundation course gives you flexible and accessible online course access. The program is taught via the use of online materials, workbooks and quizzes, in addition to your own research.
We have created this course for dedicated practitioners to deepen their knowledge and understanding around the impact of infant tongue function, in relation to feeding. Our aim is for you to gain in-depth knowledge and a greater awareness of the different perspectives of other professions and professionals so that you can better support the families in your care.
Our mission at The Infant Feeding Academy is to create a community where families are better supported with their infant feeding choices and Perinatal Practitioners and Health Professionals are better informed on how to do this.
The aim of this course is for you to deepen your understanding around tongue-tie, how this can impact infant feeding choices, and how you can personally affect health outcomes for generations to come.
