Laura Batten

We asked qualified Infant Feeding Coach, Postnatal Doula Laura of @hello_baby_brighton to talk to us about why she chose to train with us as an Infant Feeding Coach in September 2022.

Laura tells us about the transformation that she went through on this course, how it has enhanced her practice, and (in her words) how the course has grown her confidence ‘exponentially’!

She also gives ‘real-life’ examples of the direct benefits to her clients and those exciting ‘huge lightbulb moments’.

Train to support families with Infant
Tongue-tie

The Tongue-tie Assessor Program is suitable for trained Professionals and Accredited Infant Feeding Coaches

It is a blended learning course which consists of a mixture of live (virtual), face-to-face and self-directed learning elements

Fully Accredited Tongue-tie Assessor Award

We have created this course for dedicated practitioners to deepen their knowledge and understanding of assessment for infant tongue function, in relation to feeding.

Our aim is for students to gain in-depth knowledge and a greater awareness of the different perspectives of other professions and professionals so that they can better support the families in their care.

This course will deepen your understanding around tongue-tie, how this can impact infant feeding choices, and how you can personally affect health outcomes for generations to come.

The program is taught via the use of online materials, workbook completion, and interactive discussions, in addition to your own research.

Those taking the Advanced level Program: Tongue-tie Assessor Award program, will attend an online study day with Dee Bell.  There is also the additional option of a mentored face-to-face day at the Infant Feeding and Tongue-tie Clinic, Tunbridge Wells.
