It allows you to provide the best possible advice and support to the families you work with, and it also enhances your credibility.
Renewal Documentation:
To register with the Infant Feeding Academy you are required to keep a portfolio containing 5 infant feeding case studies/observations, or complete the Infant Feeding Coach™ Assessment PLUS submit 5 infant feeding CPD activity reflections.
If you are unable to obtain 5 infant feeding observations in practice, please email info@theinfantfeedingacademy.co.uk to request access to our electronic case study database or access to the assessment.
Please download each of the 3 documents below to complete:
Infant Feeding Case Study/Observation Form
Please print, complete, and submit 5 infant feeding case studies (breast or bottle). This could include any infant feeding related issue.
Infant Feeding CPD Activity Reflection Form
Please print, complete and submit 5 CPD Activity Reflections. You can reflect on: books you have read, workshops/webinars/masterclasses you have attended, mentoring calls, discussions etc.,
Infant Feeding Support Record Sheet
We have also provided you with an infant feeding support record form so that you can list all of the infant feeding support cases you see. We would love to know how many new families you have supported each year (this log is really important if you wish to record your hours toward IBCLC exam eligibility. Be sure you also keep their contact details).
